If you haven’t heard of SLife productions you need to check them out.
I discovered them when they hired me to do maternity photos and photos of the entire family during the holidays. Jason is the owner and producer and he has done some really great documentary work on the Philly Jazz scene.
Jason and Slife just started a weekly tv show about Chestnut Hill and the community. The first two episodes are awesome; featuring Drake’s Catering. They have a gorgeous garden to eat lunch in and tasty food to eat there or take home. You have to check them out.
The other episode talks about our very own “Big Dig”. If you have made it out here, you may have noticed a ton of construction on Germantown Ave between Mt. Airy and Chestnut Hill. The show does a great job of talking about the impact on the surrounding businesses. This construction shows how important it is to have word of mouth and loyal customers. The loyal customers are helping these businesses stay afloat by going often and really pushing friends and family to do the same.
So make sure you remember your favorite businesses and support them. Tell your friends, tell your family, tell strangers. Tell anyone who will listen.
