I always have my favorite images from a wedding. I usually pick an image for different reasons: the moment, the lighting, the expressions even if its a cool shot and it was really hard to get. But what I really like to know is what my client’s favorite images are and why. Photographs speak to so many people for so many different reasons, there is no “right answer”. That is a huge reason I love photography and creating these images for people, because it can touch so many people in so many different ways. What is even cooler- different images will touch them differently at different times. What are some of your favorite photographs? Why are they your favorite?

Valerie and Andy’s favorite image from their GTKY session: “It truly amazed both of us how you were able to put us at ease only after knowing you for mere minutes. Sure, the first couple of shots were difficult but your kind, fun disposition made us feel comfortable and at ease. We’ve had our pictures taken before and they looked forced, but not with you. There was a sense of calm that day and at moments we forgot you were even there.”
Valerie and Andy’s favorite wedding images: “How were you able to capture genuine/raw emotions? You were able to capture REAL moments with my girls and intimate moments with my new husband. You captured Andy being kind, loving and playful; again genuine emotion. You knew Andy wasn’t the most comfortable subject but you couldn’t tell in the hundreds of photographs from both days; now THAT is talent! Thanks for everything Sofia! We look forward to having you capture other milestones in our lives!!”
Kelly and Chris’s favorite GTKY session image: “ We picked this picture because the location is so special to us since it is where we got engaged. The blue door is so cool, people always ask about where it was taken. And once again we are just being ourselves and having fun.”
Kelly and Chris’s favorite wedding image: “We love this picture because you really captured a special moment between us. I can still remember what we were laughing at when the picture was taken. We are just enjoying each other and laughing like we always do. It shows a lot about us as a couple.”
Caroline and Adam’s favorite Indian ceremony image: “the beauty of the composition is stunning. We love the idea of “joining our hands” and becoming one. To us, this photo captures the traditional meaning of marriage.”
One of Caroline and Adam’s favorite wedding images: “We love this image because it reminds us of how much we owe to our parents and our families. Even though this was our wedding, having our families come together was the most special part of the day. This photo reminds us of the passage of time and how all things change but remain beautiful!”
Caroline and Adam’s other favorite wedding image: “I love this image because it reminds me of the casual and intimate feel of our wedding. Lots of people said they liked our wedding because it really felt like “us”, and we think our cracking up during the ceremony fit that description. It also reminds me that in a marriage, you have to roll with the punches and enjoy every moment. Which is exactly what we are doing!”
