Welcome to a new series: Tips on Tuesday. Almost all couples have never been married before and have no idea everything that is involved in making the wedding day perfect. So, I have asked my awesome couples to tell me something that they learned, tried, loved or hated while planning one of the most important days of their lives. Why reinvent the wheel?
Kelly’s, of “Kelly and Tumoor“, tip is to try eyelash extensions. In Kelly’s own words: “They give you an amazing look and you don’t have to worry about your mascara running if your a crier!!! It was very dramatic but in a soft way… Just the perfect accent – I got so many compliments and they stayed on for about 3-4 weeks!!!” Kelly went to Adolph Biecker Salon and Spa in Rittenhouse Square and the lovely Kim Sy applied beautiful and natural looking lashes.
Check out how beautiful her eyes look and the lashes just look like she applied mascara
Here is a link to a video I found that talks about the procedure- it is a little time intensive but what is 2 hours when it lasts 4 weeks
I love the eye lashes, and thinking of having my own when I get married. But I hear that the maintenance are costly that great mascara…
Eyelash extensions photograph so beautifully! I am glad to see this being recognized 🙂
I know I might be biased since I am a lash stylist, however, it makes me cringe when I see beautiful portraits of brides that have unnatural strip false lashes- makes me cringe even more when they are not properly applied and you see the glue!
Since properly applied eyelash extensions look so natural and are undetectable they are PERFECT for brides! The added bonus is they can be enjoyed past the wedding and are fabulous for honeymoon.
Fab photo’s by the way 🙂

hi sofia! to answer your question, there is an hourly fee to shoot in nelson, nv. however, the owners are super cool and will usually cut you a break, especially if you go in a group. we were a group of four and we shot there for about 3 hours. i think i ended up paying $10 altogether. really reasonable.
great work by the way. i love your use of light
