At the beginning of May, I was in New York at Trish McEvoy’s exclusive studio. I was there photographing a fabulous intimate event for HelpusAdopt.org. HelpusAdopt gives grants to couples that are trying to adopt. Adoption in this country is extremely expensive and cost- prohibitive to many; so this organization is trying to change all of this, one family at a time. The founder, Becky Fawcett, has a very delightful and candid blog called An Infertile Blonde. Make sure you check it out.
Trish and her team of make-up artists gave a make-up demonstration and one-on-one advice to the women who attended. It was interesting to see a quick and clean way to put on make-up that can transition from day to night. The women had a ton of fun and Trish was a riot.
