lots of stuff

So I have been getting inquiries into why my blog has not been updated. So I figure I should get on here and let you know what is going on.

July is usually a slower time for shooting. It is way to hot for a bunch of ball gowns and stuffy suits. I have been doing lots of album designs, networking, processing and all the non-glamorous business stuff you have to do.

I have a few Get to Know You sessions to post. A baby and maternity session to get on here. I also have a few weddings too. So the next few weeks will have a flurry of new stuff.

I have also been working a lot on the Philadelphia Wedding Project. What’s that you say? Oh you better click on over and check it out. Me and 5 other awesome photographers are giving one cool couple free wedding photography. You have to submit your story and the winner will get all kinds of cool photos from us. We have also been busy gathering a bunch of business partners to offer things to the winning couple. Partners like Feastivities, Moda Botanica, Beke Beau etc. There will also be some exciting announcements in the next few days.

I am also getting back into shape and to up the ante I am signing on to do a half marathon in September. I took a little weekend trip to the beach and when I had to put on the bathing suit, well lets just say, “yuck” . So I am back in the gym, have a personal trainer and getting fit. The half marathon is my motivation to keep going and hold myself accountable. Anyone want to join me?

That trip to the beach was really fun. We actually went camping too. It was my first time! Of course, it was just campground camping. But we did have a tent, sleeping bags and a fire going. I have to say though- the bathrooms kind of skeev me out.

To make this post a little more interesting, you can see a few video clips of my sassy 4 year old. She seems to be taking after her mother (ME) and dancing up a storm. She just choreographed her first solo piece below. =)
