After photographing weddings every weekend for several years now, you tend to see a lot of the same thing. The bride runs to the wedding magazine and grabs ideas from all the brides that did it before and makes a mish mosh of favorites and tries to put a new twist on it. But if you look in the same place that everyone else does, it tends to look like everyone else. Now, I love my couples and their weddings are beautiful and I love capturing them. I just want to encourage you to look outside the box. Look at what you love in your every day life and pull from that.
Does your wardrobe look like JCrew, then why not go there for wedding stuff. Why make your girls wear pink puffy taffeta dresses, that they’ll never wear again? My bride Stacey, did just that. Her girls wore super cute JCrew dresses with pockets (so useful), awesome necklaces and fun shoes. They looked polished, pulled together and so them.
Look at fun boutiques, antique stores, your grandma’s vintage trunk: just find things that are different. You want your wedding in a magazine? Then give them something new.
Here are some awesome fun dresses that they can wear again. Zahra Saeed had a fashion show last night, so I checked out all the new stuff on the site and absolutely loved these. If I was ever a bridesmaid, I’d love to wear these dresses. Actually, I could wear them as a guest too.

Today there are lovely brides amid dresses available and hence one should not limit their choice to conventional styles. The pictures displaying the different dresses are really fascinating. They can be worn in several other occasions.
