I am up to my eyeballs in events. I love shooting so I can’t complain but the back end is monstrous. I have a ton of events and more weddings to post but I thought I’d throw up a few gorgeous pics from a Govberg event, Patek Philippe Watch dinner.
Govberg Jewelers is known for selling the finest watches in Philly. What I think is so wonderful is that they hold dinners with the different watch makers for their clients who love that particular brand. I need to do more of that. The guests come, look at exclusive watches, talk to the big guy and eat yummy food. This dinner was held at 10Arts in the Ritz Carlton. Yes, the food was yummy! I devoured and stuffed everything I could into this 5′ 4″ frame.
Danny Govberg said something interesting about watches that I feel really pertains to wedding photography.
“A fine watch is not something you own, something you buy for yourself but for your children, for your children’s children etc…it gives them a sense of history, of belonging.”
It is a good idea to think about that when you are thinking bout wedding photography. It is not just about you, about owning something right now but something that gets passed down for many generations. Your wedding photos give them a sense of time, history and belonging.
Evantine did the gorgeous table decor. I love the flowers! 10Arts never looked so good.
