Pier 60 and the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers is a great event venue in New York City. Sunset there is gorgeous and Abigail Kirsch does amazing food. Events by Ny had me photograph Commonweal Magazine’s event honoring Timothy Shriver, Chairman of the Special Olympics. Timothy Shriver is the son of Sargent Shriver and Eunice Kennedy. Commonweal Magazine is an independent journal of religion, politics and culture edited by lay Catholics. It was a very interesting evening listening to all the discussions about the current political landscape from a religious point of view. I do not get that very often.
