Get to Know You Session: Maureen and Brian

“He is fun to be with. He makes me laugh. He is outgoing and silly. I feel safe with him. . . .oh and he is tall.”

“She is easy-going, funny and smart.”

“We have fun together, laugh together and compliment each other really well.”

“I like indie, he likes funk, I love to cook but he does breakfast. We love the Princess Bride, mexican food, our dog and staying in bed until at least noon on weekends”

Remember that image I posted a few weeks ago? The one of the couple in the doorway. It was one of my favorite images of the year. That was Maureen and Brian. They met at a young lawyers happy hour. Brian said he saw her across the crowded bar area and immediately went over to her. They had a great time talking and the rest was history. The most important thing to Maureen and Brian was that I capture them, who they are, where they like to go and the great relationship they have with each other. We also had to start the GTKY session after noon! =)

Their dog wouldn’t cooperate until he had some treats. The only thing Brian could find nearby was pretzels. Needless to say this dog will sit and jump for anything he can put in his mouth.

This little cafe was their first date spot.

Of course, we had to stop at The Mexican Post where they first met. Brian said he saw her sitting in this very spot.
