Get to Know You session- Palomar Hotel

Jessica works in fashion and Scott is a doctor. They were really excited to do their Get to Know You session. It was January and very cold out, so we had to pick a place that had some cool inside spaces. Jess picked the Palomar Hotel because it is chic and modern and thought that area of the city would be fun. The Palomar was extremely accommodating and when we were finished with the shoot Jess and Scott found a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in their room. The Palomar left a note congratulating them on their upcoming wedding and hoped they had fun shooting their GTKY session in the hotel. Wow! I was impressed and Jess said they now have a lifelong customer and lots of referrals. It is the little things that matter.

  • Glad you explained that title… thhogut you’d gotten a new religion or something. Is that a pic of your revised landscape? You really nailed the ‘less is more’ look! (just kidding!) Which, btw, is also my preference for naming paintings… one word titles keep me sane. Have been told the most overused title is ‘Reflections’… knew you’d want to know.
