New York wedding at the 3 West Club

Kara and Jason are super sweet. Kara, a reading specialist, and I bonded over books my 6 year old should check out. She gave me some really good suggestions and Mo Willem’s, “Don’t Let the Pigeon Ride the Bus” is still a favorite. Kara and Jason have an interesting love story.They met and dated very briefly in college. After graduation they ran into each other at a New Years Eve party but then Kara moved away. Several years later, Kara moved back to New York. Around the same time, Jason saw Kara’s profile on facebook through a mutual friend and saw that she moved back to town. Jason reached out and becoming friends turned more serious. Jason and Kara found each other again 15 years after they first met! You know sometimes life has to happen before you can find the one person you want to marry.

Now onto their gorgeous wedding day. We started off across the street at Rockefeller Center, drove up for portraits at Columbia University where Kara spends a lot of her time and then the ceremony and reception was at the 3West Club. Sharon Becker, of SB Beauty, made Kara, her mom and sister look gorgeous. She kept them calm and relaxed the entire time they were getting ready. That is super important because it sets the tone for the rest of the day. Everything else ran smoothly from the limo to the venue to the gorgeous flowers and subtle DJ.
