It is an honor when a fellow photographer asks you to photograph them, especially something as momentous and once in a lifetime as their wedding. New York wedding photographer, Jordan Van Aken did just that. Jordan is friends of some of the best wedding photographers in New York City so I was really honored when she asked me to capture her day.
Jordan and her hubby to be Jordan, aka Lady J and Mr. J, met at work, a friendship blossomed and it was not until Mr. J moved away that Lady J realized she actually missed him and decided to give him a chance. Lady and Mr. J were married at a beautiful resort in upstate New York, Full Moon Resort. Rolling hills, a rocky stream and lots of trees. We had a really great time working together and now she is one of my new BFF’s. Plus you may see us shooting together from time to time.
LOVE her dress! It was kind of spanish senorita and looked stunning on her. Jordan said she never expected she would have picked out such a “big” dress but when she tried it on, it just fit.

Her flowers were stunning! This is my favorite bouquet this season! The colors and mix of flowers work really well together. Jessie from Rountree Flowers did an amazing job.
