Radhika and Carter were introduced by mutual friends in 8th grade. Carter was on crutches and Radhika thought he was cute. Growing up together, as friends, seeing each other through every major phase of life brought them very close. About a year after college they started dating. Radhika said she really wanted to be sure because they were such good friends she did not want to screw up that friendship. It was on a trip to Montreal that Radhika told him her feelings. Radhika and Carter both said the coolest thing about them is that strong friendship and that they were born on opposite sides of the world but somehow fate brought them together.
Radhika and Carter did a traditional hindu ceremony the first night. The next day they did a traditional american ceremony and reception. Sarah Pease from Brialliant Events pulled everything together and made it look gorgeous. Here is their Indian wedding. Check back next week for the Amercian one.
I love finding those little moments throughout the day that are intimate and fun. I just love the expression on her grandmother’s face.
You can tell how much love Radhika has for Carter by the way she is looking at him here. These moments are priceless.
This was their send-off at the end of the night. Grandma crying for joy. It’s such an intimate moment that means so much. If I was not just watching and seeing who was important to her I could have missed it.
