Sabrina and JP are the sweetest! I absolutely loved reading their “Get to Know You” sheet because not only was it candid and funny but they both took the time to answer the questions. I actually think they made it into a date night. In fact, I am going to insist on that now, maybe send over a bottle of wine, cupcakes and the GTKY sheet and the two of you can have a date. Plus the wine will help me get all the good dirt you would not have shared otherwise. 😉
JP had admired Sabrina from afar during law school and had no idea his friend knew her. Lucky for JP, their mutual friend brought Sabrina over for dinner one night. They really hit it off, dating during law school but unfortunately broke it off. A few years later, after a few failed attempts by JP to get her attention, Sabrina finally crossed paths with JP again. This time Sabrina realized JP was something special and did not want to let him go. Sabrina had always felt he was the one that got away. JP says, “there wasn’t anything else I enjoyed as much as spending time with her – even if it meant a 2 hour commute back to the office on a Monday morning just to get to spend Sunday with her.”

JP loves that Sabrina is very sure of herself, determined and persistent. He also loves her big laugh especially because it comes out of such a small person. He also secretly likes that she loves watching trashy TV. He says he’ll deny it but let’s just say he knows more about the Kardashians than most. Sabrina thinks JP is funny, really funny, and down to earth. He keeps her balanced. They both love each others families and hang out with them often.

JP proposed by getting their favorite cupcakes and placing the cupcake box on the kitchen table with the ring box inside next to the cupcake. Sabrina had expected a proposal at dinner so was surprised when it happened at home.
