This New York Moment is on one of my favorite streets in the Meatpacking district. It has the cobblestone streets, the buildings, fire escapes and of course, a yellow cab. The gorgeous couple is Ty and Ju and this image can also be seen on Newlywish as an example of a modern couple.

This moment was taken during Ty and Ju’s formal session. We went out before the ceremony so we could walk around the streets of New York and capture the city as well as the two of them. For anyone who has been on this street, it can be pretty busy traffic wise and you are constantly moving into the middle and to the side for cars. In between the “posed” photos, which for me are more go stand over there and talk to each other or maybe I ask them to tell each other what they thought the moment they saw one another. Anything to evoke a reaction, a moment that is truly theirs. These two were so excited about the day that they kept stealing little smooches. As we moved off the street, I saw them start chatting and getting smoochy and snapped just as the cab drew closer. Being aware, anticipating and knowing my clients helped get this great New York moment.
