I loved photographing Ali and Brian’s wedding. Ali is a sweet, vivacious and super fashionable girl (she’s co-owner of Rack It Up, a new online shopping experience). This New York wedding moment comes from when she was getting ready.

Ali’s mom mentioned that she would love a photo of Ali, her mom and her mom’s sister with the photo of her grandmother on her wedding day. Instead of just lining them up and holding the photo, which is what her mom suggested, I knew it would be much better as a moment when Allie was getting ready. So while Allie was getting ready, I saw this moment, when her mom was putting on her necklace , to capture all the elements but in a much more interesting way. We have all the generations present in a beautiful and sentimental time during Ali’s wedding day. I love that her grandmother’s picture is looking at Ali getting ready. Of course, Ali’s cousin caught me taking this photo and cheesed for the camera.
