The New York Historical Society on the Upper West Side is a gorgeous space. It is perfect for a wedding or event. They have a theater, a wide open downstairs with archways and columns. Upstairs has gorgeous galleries in reds and golds. They also have one of the best caterers- Starr Events. For those lucky enough to live in or visit Philly often you would know about Starr Events because of all the Starr restaurants. New York City has Buddakhan and Morimoto which has some of the best sushi and asian cuisine. But Starr events also has some of the best guacamole, tacos, comfort food, steaks and bistro style food as well.
These images are from an open house they did a few months back. Ovando did all the flowers and Starr did the food. Everyone raved for days after about how good the food was. You should definitely check it out.
