For you loyal blog readers, you know that I do a lot of stuff for MANNA. MANNA holds a dear place in my heart because of the people who work there, the events that they have (shut up and dance is one of my most favorites) and because of the work they do. They started out delivering nourishment to homebound AIDS patients and have expanded to serve all homebound people with life threatening illnesses, such as cancer, AIDS, liver disease etc. Their mission is to deliver nourishment to the body and soul. The work there is just amazing.
Every year they hold ChefAid an event that has some of the top area chefs donating their time, skills and food for a fabulous fundraising feast. 5 courses, fabulous decor, a happening band and good times. This year they raised over $100,000!
Of course the ever fantabulous Evantine did the decor at the gorgeous Rittenhouse Hotel. EBE did the entertainment. and a huge thank you to my friend Geoff Horowitz for coming out and shooting with me. He did the beautiful photo of the singer, the waiters and the closeup of the flowers.
OMG i love these shots, love the pink hair too. I recently bouhgt temporary hair color in sprays by Jerome Russell (pink and purple) that I sometimes wear out but it washes out. I wanted to dye but i’m too scared. You might be my inspo if yours comes out great!! Good luck. Cant wait to see!!xoxo
